THE LOCATION
Ideal for your stay if you are looking for a quiet place a little away from the main road, with all amenities and lots of good hiking trails nearby. Perfect for spending quality time on your writing. The forest surrounding makes this place unique and experiential. Three luxury safari tents with all amenities and facilities, along with three rooms in the stone-and-mud house. All rooms have all amenities and attached bathrooms with geysers. Very much accessible by road yet offbeat n away from the regular habitation. The last 5 km approach road is a little adventurous but very much drivable. Though we have an off-road vehicle, i.e., a zypsy, to help our guests. In this case, safe parking is provided.

HOW TO REACH
Depending upon where you are travelling in from, you can reach us by …
From Delhi – 340kms drive which takes nearly 7-8 hrs (with 40mnts break in between). Overnight buses available from Anand Vihar till Haldwani. (uttarakhand Parivahan Nigam Buses being more reliable but you can also book the private bus operators through Redbus etc). Hire a taxi from Haldwani till the retreat which is nearly 75 kms drive (2hrs 30 mnts drive). No driver accommodation is available within the retreat premises but in the vicinity, some accommodations are available for the drivers at chargeable basis.
Kathgodam is the nearest railhead. From Delhi, there are three trains available. Overnight train – Ranikhet Express, Early morning train – Shatabdi Express, Post noon train – Sampark Kranti. Taxis are available from Kathgodam.
From Delhi – There are some direct Flights are available from Delhi to Pantnagar airport, the closest to our retreat. From Mumbai or Bangalore – There are 3-4 weekly flights. Nearly 4 hrs drive from Pantnagar to the property. Taxis are available.Â
